Stoodley Pike is a 402 m high elevation in the southern Pennines in the northern English county of West Yorkshire. Queen Street Mill, a late C19 textile weaving mill with later additions, is listed at Grade I for the following principal reasons: * Rarity: Queen Street Mill is claimed to be the last surviving working C19 steam-powered textile weaving mill in the world. Unique in being the world's only surviving operational steam-driven weaving shed, it received an Engineering Heritage Award in November 2010.

This mid-17th-century gabled house with mullioned windows was built for the clothier James Murgatroyd, who first bought the estate in the 1630.
