The Dômes de Miage is a mountain of the Mont Blanc Alps in the Graian Alps. It is located along the borderline between Italy and France. The mountain is made up of five peaks that unfold on a ridge about three kilometers long. Starting from the east and from the border with Italy is the highest peak; going west there is a second elevation.
The Bionnassay glacier is a French glacier located in the Mont-Blanc massif, which descends from the Bionnassay needle. It covers 4.73 km 2 and is 5 km long. It is accessed by the Mont-Blanc tramway, to the Nid d'Aigle station, then by a path. The French Bionnassay glacier should not be confused with the Italian Bionnassay glacier, which is a “tributary” of the Miage glacier.
The Aiguille du Goûter is a mountain of the Mont Blanc massif: located under the highest Dôme du Goûter, it is located along the normal French ascent route to Mont Blanc and just below the summit the Goûter Refuge. the summit is accessible from the Nid d'Aigle station of the Tramway du Mont.

The Elisabetta Soldini Montanaro refuge is a refuge located in the municipality of Courmayeur, at the bottom of Val Veny, in the Graian Alps, at 2,195 m asl. It was built in 1953. Thirty years later, in 1983, it was significantly expanded. It is named after the hiker Elisabetta Soldini Montanaro, who tragically died in the mountains. It is the stopping point of the Alta via Della Valle d'Aosta n. 2, trail hiking in the Valle d'Aosta.
The Lake Miage is a small pool of water that is located in Valle d'Aosta at 2020 m above sea level at the foot of the massif of Mont Blanc, in Val Veny. Its waters are fed by the homonymous glacier. Characteristic of the lake is the interesting and spectacular phenomenon that has occurred for over two centuries: the detachment of icebergs from the ice cliff in contact with the lake.
The Aiguille Noire de Peuterey is an entirely rocky summit of the Mont Blanc Alps 3773 meters high. It is located on the Italian side of the Mont Blanc Massif. The mountain is located between the Brenva Glacier and the Freney Glacier. Les Dames Anglaises separates it from the higher Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey. The Bossons glacier claims to be the "largest icefall in Europe." It is certainly the fastest moving glacier (300m/year)and it also reacts very quickly to climate change. . It has the largest altitudinal drop of all the alpine glaciers in Europe, and formerly extended much further down the valley than it does today. One of the nice trekking destination and also a nice picnic spot.
Mont Blanc du Tacul is a snow-capped mountain located in the Mont Blanc Massif, Haute-Savoie, and one of the most important amongst the summits surrounding Mont Blanc. The Normal route of Mont Blanc du Tacul is no difficult route starting from the Refuge des Cosmiques and running on the glacier which occupies the Northern slopes of the mountain with a variety of snow and ice types. One of the nine trekking destinations and also a nice camping spot.
The Val Veny is a valley mountain situated in the Aosta Valley, at the foot of the Mont Blanc massif, west of Courmayeur. It was shaped in particular by the Miage and Brenva glaciers and by the Dora di Veny river. The valley is the starting point of the normal Italian route to Mont Blanc (via Ratti-Grasselli) through the Miage glacier and the Francesco Gonella refuge. To facilitate hiking and climbing to the peaks, the valley is equipped with numerous shelters and bivouacs.
