The Marine Museum is connected to the alHashem II, the largest Dhow ever build. It won the Guinness world record and is worth a visit. The boat is now a conference hall that you can visit if there are no events. The museum shows miniatures of wooden boats and tools that are used to make Dhows. It also documents the making of the AlHashem II. The descriptions are detailed and in English and Arabic. The museum has official opening hours from 10AM to 5PM but it is worth calling them before making your way there because they might not be open. Also ask specifically if there are any special events when you call otherwise you might still get invalid information about opening times.
