This is an artificial waterbody with nice garden encircling it. It is located right at the center of Shillong city and is a good place to hangout in the evening. You can do boating here and there is a restuarant with a good view inside the lake premise. Street vendors fill the area outside the entrance with snacks and fancy items. Close to the lake is a botanial garden with a collection of orchids and other floral species. In the middle of the lake, there is a wooden bridge from where you can enjoy lovely views of the lake and also feed fish from there.
