Panitheerakulam means 'incomplete pond'. This underground pond has a cave system built around it and few sculptures. The construction of the pond and it's cave system started in 1984 and abandoned about ten years later due to high costs involving it's construction. The construction was undertaken by a local living nearby. The pond and the cave are mostly in damaged state now. The family who owns the plot will show you the pond and the caves if you are visiting. It is located right near to the Paramba Church.
