The grounded dredger is something which you don't see everyday. This one washed up on the shore couple of years ago and so far the owners have not moved it due to legal problems. It lies there, starting to get decayed and also attracting lots of people. Aside from the dredger, the beach is pretty good too. The waters are very clean, unlike many of the other beaches in Kerala (but the premises honestly are still laden with plastic wastes). I heard it is dangerous to swim in the waters so that is a letdown.
