On a hot and humid afternoon we made our way to Cape Coast Castle. This is the start of the slave trade initiated by the catholic church and conducted by colonial powers. You visit the castle with a guide. Ours was really knowledgeable and could answer many questions in addition to providing us with deep information. The place is leaving you a feeling of sadness and and anger. We could learn about the most horrific slave trade procedures and stories around them. It is an important place to visit and learn.
