An extremely beautiful village that can mostly be accessed through the canals around them. Well known for the waterways, the centuries old thatched roof houses and the walking and cycling ways that are very pretty. It is a bit far away from Amsterdam, about 1.5 hours to drive. It's a very popular place, so it's filled with tourists. The boats can be hired easily, cost 15 Euro per hour and run on battery. The canal itself is pretty confusing, we got lost many times and it took us an hour longer than what was actually planned for boating. Pay serious attention to the map given I would say 😀
