Haus der Statistik hosts different events. We took the afternoon to visit the temporary exhibition "Contested Modernities" on southeast Asian architecture. It was really great to see a German exhibition including southeast Asia researchers, writers and curators. The exhibition was beautifully designed and brought back memories of dinners spent at the Golden Mile Complex in Singapore and afternoons at the Independence Palace in Saigon.
