Anjanadri Hill Temple

It is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. The temple sits on a hill, you need to climb over 500 steps to reach it. The view of the old ruins of Hampi along with the paddy fields around the hill is a magnificent sight.

Dubare Elephant Camp-Resort-Junglelodges

An important base for the Karnataka Forest Department's elephants. At present, after logging operations with elephants have ceased, the elephants have been practically retired except for giving interaction activities with them to tourists.

Jog Falls

Created by the Sharavathi River dropping 253 meters (830 ft), making it the second-highest plunge waterfall in India after the Nohkalikai Falls with a drop of 335 meters (1100 ft) in Meghalaya.

Mandalpatti Peak

Part of Pushpagiri reserve forest, Mandalpatti Peak is a mist covered peak accessible only by vehicles capable of off roading or by hike. The grassland laden peak offers great views of the valleys and the hills below. Mandalpatti is also known as ‘Mugilu-Peth’ or ‘Mugilu-Pete’ in local language. It means Market of Cloud, a very apt name for the place.
