The fantastic Nandi Hills. This was on my bucket list since I saw some photos here of the breathtaking sunrise there and finally able to visit end December.
The view is epic, we reached at the perfect time, when the sun was just rising up behind the clouds. Note that the place is filled with people as it is a popular destination for people living in Bangalore.
Nandi hills is situated near to bangalore and driving through the fog in morning gives you pleasure.
Always better to go in the morning before fog disappear.
The place is calm and peaceful (but crowd is more on weekends)
good place to get some fresh air and roam around gardens on top of hill.
The view from the top of the hill with clouds below was amazing.
if you interested in history n temples, then its more interesting.
If you are going in a car, u can take vehicles upto top of the hill. Bikes must be parked below & need to walk around 400 mtr to reach top. But on the way up we have lot of scenery to enjoy. So its not a big deal.
If u r in a vacation in banglore, must visit nandi hills.try to reach there by sunrise. Around 1.5 hours travel required from banglore town.
