Bear Creek Lake Park is a 2600 acre Open Space Park managed by the City of Lakewood. The park contains a swim beach; marina with boat rentals; a 47 site campground; horseback riding stables; 15 miles of multiple use trails; water ski school; picnic shelters; an archery range and three lakes.The park Visitor Center is a great place to learn about the park, and a variety of ranger programs are offered throughout the year.

Dedisse Park is a Denver Mountain Park located in Jefferson County, Colorado. Lots of pretty trails mostly inclined. Beautiful rock outcroppings, river to fish in, next to golf course, clean picnic areas. Out houses near picnic area. Colorado's first mountain golf course, the Evergreen Golf Course, was constructed here in 1925, which features the rustic lodge Keys on the Green restaurant.

Deer Creek Canyon Park is located in the southwestern part of the Denver metropolitan area about 27 miles from downtown Denver. It is a foothills park with the entrance and trailhead parking at the edge of an upscale suburban subdivision. It has seven trails with a total length of 11 miles.

Elk Meadow Park is a park and trail system, which is home to a number of outdoor activities. A 1.43 mile loop trail surrounds the lake and features interpretive stops that describe historical and natural features of the area. Improvements at the park have been intentionally limited to preserve the natural integrity of the park.

Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park is a 20th century history park, museum and festival experience that celebrates our community. It is home to 15 historic buildings, more than 40,000 artifacts, rotating and permanent exhibits, a festival area and an outdoor amphitheater.
