Lake of the Woods is a census-designated place in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. The population was 4,094 at the 2010 census.

Long Logs Trail in Petrified Forest National Park has a few cool things to see. The first is a bunch of long petrified logs. It is one of the greatest concentrations of in-tact petrified logs in the Park. Trees over 100' long were stripped of their branches by ancient rivers and eventually came together within this vicinity.

Navajo National Monument is a National Monument located within the northwest portion of the Navajo Nation territory in northern Arizona, which was established to preserve three well-preserved cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Puebloan people. The monument is high on the Shonto plateau, overlooking the Tsegi Canyon system, west of Kayenta, Arizona. It features a visitor center with a museum, three short self-guided trails, two small campgrounds, and a picnic area.

Owl Rock is a 6,547-foot elevation sandstone summit located south of Monument Valley, in northeast Arizona. It is a red spire composed of Jurassic Wingate Sandstone which is a hard, fine-grained rock which is great for rock climbing, in contrast to the towers and buttes in nearby Monument Valley which have a different composition, de Chelly sandstone.

The Painted Desert is a United States desert of badlands in the Four Corners area, running from near the east end of Grand Canyon National Park and southeast into Petrified Forest National Park. It is most easily accessed from the north portion of Petrified Forest National Park. The Painted Desert is known for its brilliant and varied colors: these include the more common red rock, but also shades of lavender.

Rainbow Lake is a 116-acre manmade lake near the town of Pinetop-Lakeside in southern Navajo County, Arizona. The lake was created in 1903 when Mormon settlers dammed Walnut Creek, a tributary of the Little Colorado River, to impound water for irrigation. Rainbow Lake is mostly surrounded by homes, including the private HOA Shores at Rainbow Lake on the southeast side. It is a prominent recreational feature of the Pinetop-Lakeside area, known for its fishing, boating, and wildlife habitats.

Rock Art Ranch is a well-kept secret in the Arizona desert.The ranch contains some of the Southwest’s most spectacular rock art with more than 3000 glyphs, which have been completely documented, dating from 5000 BCE to 1400 CE. The ranch lies in the high desert at 5100’ elevation.

Scott Reservoir is an irrigation impoundment on Porter Creek near Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona, USA. The least developed of the "in town" lakes, trees surround Scott Reservoir. It lies just outside the town limits on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests.The lake is stocked with catchable-sized rainbow trout in spring, early summer and fall, and it is occasionally stocked with channel catfish. There are also some largemouth bass.

Shonto Plateau is a heath in Arizona and has an elevation of 6683 feet. Shonto Plateau is situated west of Adadka Spring. It is one of the main attractions in this area and also there are so many things to see and do.

Show Low Lake is located in Show Low, Arizona and has the best Walleye fishing in Arizona.The lake features 100 water surface acres at an average depth of about 33 feet with a maximum depth of approximately 50 feet. The lake maintains good water quality year round, and is stocked with rainbow trout from April through September. The lake also contains reproducing populations of walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill and green sunfish.
