The Museum Factory is a museum in Enschede that was called TwentseWelle before May 2018. The Museum Factory is a family museum where the future is discovered through learning, playing, working, thinking, experimenting and dreaming. The exhibitions inspire young and old to learn and to invent, try and assemble things themselves. That can be done in the factory. The historical collections of the museum are always the great source of inspiration.
This is a living museum showcasing a historic farming village with costumed actors, a gift shop & a cafe. It is the only place in Giethoorn where you can see how people lived more than 100 years ago and how they earned a meagre living by cutting peat and building small boats. There is also a museumshop with coffeecorner and temporary exposition. An audiotour in multiple languages is included in the entrance fee.

The museum has a permanent collection with works by Karel Appel , Rainer Fetting and Frank Stella , among others .

The Lutterzand is a nature reserve and recreation area in the municipality of Losser in Overijssel. The mixed forest area of the estate shows a varied vegetation of old and young blowing pines next to fields with heather and juniper bushes on old sand drifts. The area has traditionally been attractive for day trips and is accessible to visitors by the Lutterzandweg.

The Noetselerberg is a 59.5 meter high hill in the municipality of Hellendoorn in the Dutch province of Overijssel . The hill is part of the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. In the north the ridge changes into the Nijverdalse Berg , in the southwest into the Haarlerberg . Between the Noetselerberg and the Haarlerberg lies a meltwater valley.

The Paasberg in Terborg in the Dutch Achterhoek is a natural hill located between the Paasberglaan and 't Veld in the southeast of Terborg.The mountain is an old river dune complex, raised in the last ice age, when not the Oude IJssel , but a predecessor of the Rhine flowed through the area.Several buildings and facilities in Terborg are named after the Paasberg. On the southeastern edge of the nature reserve, against Silvolde, are the outdoor swimming pool.

The Rutbeek is a Dutch recreation area, located in East Overijssel in the municipality of Enschede. Around a large pond with an irregular shape and an area of 40 hectares is a recreation area with an area of 120 hectares. The water depth of the lake is on average three, and a maximum of five meters. The distance of a walk around the water is four to five kilometers. The Rutbeek consists of a swamp and five different beaches.

The Rijssens Leemspoor Foundation operates a museum railway in the Overijssel city of Rijssen . The museum tells the story of the narrow -gauge railway in the field of the brick industry in and around Rijssen. A century ago there were about 15 brick factories in Rijssen, of which four were still left in the 1960s. These had a narrow gauge railway from the beginning of the 20th century until 1964 to transport clay from the quarry to the factories.
