The museum tells the story of the narrow -gauge railway in the field of the brick industry in and around Rijssen. A century ago there were about 15 brick factories in Rijssen, of which four were still left in the 1960s. These had a narrow gauge railway from the beginning of the 20th century until 1964 to transport clay from the quarry to the factories.
