Wicklow

County Wicklow is a county in Ireland. The last of the traditional 32 counties, having been formed as late as 1606, it is part of the Mid-East Region and the traditional province of Leinster. It is bordered by the Irish Sea to the east and the counties of Wexford to the south, Carlow to the southwest, Kildare to the west, and Dublin to the north.

Beaches to Explore in Wicklow

Greystones South Beach

Greystones is a beautiful sandy beach located in the centre of the town and right beside the DART train service. The South Beach in Greystones is about half a mile long. It is a mix of pebble and sand and easily accessible from the railway station and car park. The beach is lifeguarded during the bathing season and more information can be found on the notice board located at the beach.
