2 National Parks to Explore in Jura

The Doubs Regional Nature Park extends over more than 40 kilometers in the cantons of Jura, Neuchatel, and Bern and includes 16 communities. Recognized by the federal authorities as a regional nature park of national importance, the Parc du Doubs is intended to ensure the preservation and sustainable development of its territory with regard to the environment, patrimony, and population.

A nature reserve of national importance, the Etang de la Gruère is a haven of peace and a true paradise for nature lovers. The path around the lake invites you to discover its special flora and fauna. The lake and the surrounding bog is a nature preserve. The lake was formed in the 17th century, when a dam was built for a mill.
