Lac de Joux

It is the largest lake in Switzerland with a surface area of 9.5 km². The lake attracts countless visitors all year round; in summer mainly for water sports, biking and hiking and in winter for ice-skating and cross-country skiing.

Lake Murten

It is the smallest of the three lakes in the Seeland or Pays des Trois lacs area of the Swiss plateau. The lake is named after the small bilingual town of Murten/Morat on its southern shore.
