A large greenhouse in Vienna, Austria featuring plants from around the world, which was opened in 1882. It is the most prominent of the four greenhouses in Schönbrunn Palace Park, and is also among the largest botanical exhibits of its kind in the world, with around 4,500 plant species.
Pöstlingbergbahn is the steepest adhesion railway in Europe, creates a harmonious combination of nostalgia and modernity through its design. In only 20 minutes, starting from Hauptplatz, its climbs Linz's local mountain. Opened in 1898, for 110 years the metre-gauge railway ran from a terminal station in Linz's Urfahr neighbourhood, located across from the terminus of urban tram route 3, to Pöstlingberg.

The Semmeringbahn was an incredible feat of engineering and it took more than 20,000 workers’ years to complete. It is commonly referred to as the world's first true mountain railway, given the very difficult terrain and the considerable altitude difference that was mastered during its construction. It is still fully functional as a part of the Southern Railway which is operated by the Austrian Federal Railways.
Stiegl brewery, Europe's largest beer museum welcomes its visitors and invites you on an informative and exciting journey through the world of beer. Here visitors have the opportunity to watch the brewers as they make their monthly beer. You can find out more about the 500-year-old brewing tradition in the museum's exhibition area. One of the exhibition highlights is the artfully decorated beer altar. The traditional history of beer brewing is reproduced in imagery.
One of Vienna's trademark sights is the Riesenrad or giant Ferris wheel located at the start of the Prater amusement park.The Giant Ferris Wheel was erected in 1897 to mark the 50th year of Emperor Franz Joseph's accession to the throne.
