Mirabell Palace

A historic building, which was built in 1606 by prince-archbishop Wolf Dietrich for his beloved Salome Alt. Today, it serves as the backdrop for the most romantic weddings you could possibly imagine. It is generally regarded as one of the "most beautiful wedding halls in the world". In former times, the likes of Leopold Mozart and his children, Wolfgang and Nannerl, made music here.

Monatsschlössl

The Monatsschlössl is on the Hellbrunner mountain in the park of Hellbrunn Palace in the southern Austrian city of Salzburg situated hunting lodge of the 17th century. Today the rich folklore museum of the Salzburg Museum is set up in the monthly castle . The collection, founded in 1904, provides an insight into the Salzburg folk culture with exhibits of customs , popular piety, home decor and folk medicine. The Lame Castle was a castle above the Faludi Valley in the market town of Rechnitz in the district of Oberwart in Burgenland . Remaining wall remains are under monument protection. There is historical evidence that the "Barren Castle" had to be surrendered in 1289 after a long siege as part of the "Güssing feud" of Count Iwan against Duke Albrecht I of Austria and Styria.

Pyramidenkogel Tower

The Pyramidenkogel observation tower is situated at the top of the 850-meters-high Pyramidenkogel mountain, near Klagenfurt, the capital of Austria’s southernmost state Carinthia. It was completed in 2013 and it’s simply fantastic. With a total height of 100 metres, it’s the highest wooden viewing tower in the world. Height accomplishments aside, the design of the structure is itself a marvel – the helix-shaped tower is both a gorgeous work of architecture.

Rathaus

Rathaus is one of the most splendid amongst the numerous monumental buildings along Vienna's. Designed by Friedrich Schmidt (1825-1891), it was erected between 1872 and 1883. It was built in gothical style, with a tower similar to gothic cathedrals. The gothic era saw the growth of the cities and the emergence of an urban burgeoisie.

Riegersburg Castle

A beautiful medieval castle situated on a dormant volcano above the town of Riegersburg in the Austrian state of Styria. The castle is owned by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein and contains a museum with changing exhibitions. The impressive basalt crag on which the castle was built was populated already 6000 years ago. With its extensive fortifications, this largest Baroque castle in Styria, was rightly known as the strongest fortress in the Occident.

The famous Salzburg carillon is located in the tower of the New Residence on Residenzplatz in Salzburg's old town . The carillon (together with the tower clock there) had a task to indicate certain times of the day. These dates were also vanitas symbols and reminded of the transience of things. Schloss Büchsenhausen

Büchsenhausen Castle is a residence in Innsbruck 's Hötting district on the way from St. Nikolaus to Weiherburg . The core of the facility, originally owned by the Löffler foundry family , dates back to the 16th century and is now a listed building. The complex consists of two main buildings and several outbuildings.

Schloss Deutschkreutz

A magnificent renaissance castle consisting of a mighty four-wing building with two-story courtyard arcades and corner towers. There is stucco work to see the castle chapel with old frescoes , furniture and tapestries . The long-time owner Anton Lehmden ran a painting exhibition in the castle. The castle in its current form was built in 1625 by Paul Nádasdy, who also had the chapel built in 1632.

Schloss Eckartsau

Schloss Eckartsau is a castle converted into a hunting lodge in Eckartsau not far from the Donauauen in Marchfeld , Lower Austria. The original castle was a four-sided moated castle. The castle, which is now in the Donau-Auen National Park , thus became the property of the Republic of Austria, managed by the Austrian Federal Forests .As a museum, the castle has also been awarded the museum seal of approval. The Marchfeld castles also include Niederweiden Castle and Hof Castle .

Schloss Frohnburg

The Frohnburg is located on Hellbrunner Allee No. 53 in Salzburg in the Hellbrunn landscape garden . It was also called Grafenauerhof or Schloss Kuenburg in history and is a typical Salzburg country castle. Built around 1620 as a smaller building, the complex was initially owned by Baron Kuenburg , then Baron Froberg and again continuously between 1670 and 1960 by the Counts of Kuenburg.
