The Große Pyhrgas is a mountain in the Ennstal Alps on the border between Upper Austria and Styria. At a height of 2,244 m above sea level. it is the highest summit and western buttress of the Haller Mauern range. Alpine huts on the Großer Pyhrgas are, on the Upper Austrian side, the Hofalm Hut (1,305 m), the Rohrauerhaus and the Bosruck Hut.

The Große Solstein is a mountain, on the western corner of the Nordkette range in the Karwendel mountains near Zirl in the Austrian state of Tyrol. Its summit may be ascended on various mountain tour routes either from the Solsteinhaus or from the New Magdeburg Hut. These routes are described as not difficult but require stamina. Großer Widderstein is the highest and most dominating mountain of Klein Walsertal and located at the southern end of the valley. The mountain is formed out of dolomite rock and has a massive appearance from any side. It is the highest peak in the subgroup of the Southeastern Walsertal Mountains. There are several climbing routes on the faces of the Widderstein.

The great Walsertal is best known for the UNESCO biosphere park of the same name.The name of the valley comes from the Walsers who moved here from Valais in the 13th century .

A majestic mountain located on the ridge between the two largest glaciers of the Alps: the Aletsch Glacier to the west and the Fiescher Glacier to the east. To the south lies the Gross Wannenhorn and, to the north, the Gross Fiescherhorn. The starting point for the normal route via the Grünegghorn and the south-west ridge is the Konkordiahütte at 2,850 metres (9,350 ft), which can be reached from Fiesch.

The Hafelekarspitze is a mountain in the so-called North Chain north of Innsbruck in Austria. In summer, nearby Hafelekar gap is starting point for two popular trails on the Southern Inntal ridge of Karwendel:the Goetheweg hiking trail due east, andthe Innsbrucker klettersteig. The mountain has a settlement history of at least four thousand years, stretching from the Neolithic to the pre-Roman La Tène period. The Hemmaberg is a high mountain in the apron of the Karawanken and lies west of the village Globasnitz in the south of Carinthia . There has been a Celtic sanctuary on the summit plateau at least since Roman times . In late antique times there was a hillside settlement with an older church and two double churches built at the same time at the beginning of the 6th century. A good trekking destination and also there are so many other leisure opportunities too.

The Hintere Brandjochspitze is a summit roughly 200 metres northwest of the Vordere Brandjochspitze in the Nordkette range above Innsbruck. The summit may be reached in 20 minutes from the Vordere Brandjochspitze at climbing grade UIAA I through a gully left of the arête.

A beautiful hiking trail along the Vorderen Gosau lake, to the Gosaulacke and on to the Hinterer Gosau lake. You have a wonderful view of the Dachstein. It is best to walk along the left side of the Vorderen Gosau lake, here you have the Dachstein with its glacier in view. Past the Gosaulacke there are a few steep passages towards the goal. Again and again you have great views of King Dachstein.

The Hochalmspitze is at an altitude of 3360 m above sea level. A. the highest point in the Ankogel group in the Hohe Tauern . As a counterpart to the Glockner , it is also known as the "Tauern Queen" or "Tauern Princess". It is popularly called Der Hochalmer . It is located east of Mallnitz in Carinthia. The normal route leads from the Gießener Hütte over the southeast ridge. This path was first walked in 1892 by Frido Kordon and his companions.

The Hochälpelekopf is a mountain in the Bregenzerwaldgebirge near Dornbirn and at 1463 m above sea level. A. the highest point in the Bödele region. It forms an elongated mountain ridge running in a north-south direction. A good trekiing destination and also it offers nice views too.

The Hochficht is a mountain in the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria with a height of 1,338 m above sea level. Its summit marks the border between Austria and the Czech Republic. At the top is a rock outcrop with a summit cross, a ski lift station and a weather station. The Czech side of the mountain is in the core zone of the Bohemian Forest National Park. The Hochficht in the cross-border Bohemian Forest is part of the municipality of Klaffer.

Hochleckenkogel is a high mountain in the western Höllengebirge . Its summit, overgrown with mountain pines , drops with a steep NE flank into the rear Aurachkar. The entrance to the Hochlecken cave is on this side . At the summit there is an old surveying stone with the inscription: Operatio Astronom. Trigon. 1811 on one side and on the other KV Regnante Imperator Francisco Prim.

The Obir in Carinthia is the highest mountain range in the North Karawanken . It culminates at 2139 m above sea level. A. high Hochobir . Other elevations are the Kuhberg, the Kleinobir, the Vielspitz and the Altberg . The show caves can be found in the eastern part of the mountain rangedeveloped Obir stalactite caves , in the northern part of the Wildensteiner waterfall . From 1891 until it was destroyed in World War II, there was a meteorological station at the summit, the Hannwarte.

Hochtor is a saddle in Styria and has an elevation of 1727 metres. Hochtor is situated nearby to Feldl, and southwest of Stoiringhals. The mountain is protected as part of Gesäuse National Park, the third largest in Austria. It is a good trekking destination to explore the beauty of Styria.
