Bogyoke Aung San Museum

The Bogyoke Aung San Museum is a museum dedicated to General Aung San, the founder of modern Myanmar. The Museum exhibits things that are used by Bogyoke Aung San such as furniture, dresses, books, car, and his family photos.

Kan Baw Za Thadi Palace

Golden Palace is a small building with two majestic halls, a chamber hosting king’s throne, and some display of relevant information. It is in fact the only decent place worth visiting if Pagodas and Buddha statues, temples are not your thing. There are so many things to see in and around this place. he halls are majestic, with huge pillars, intrinsic artwork on the roof, on the pillars on the side everywhere. Mon Cultural Museum

This is a two-story building dedicated to the Mon history of the region. The exhibits are displayed downstairs while reading rooms are upstairs. The modest collection of the museum includes scales with Mon inscriptions, hundred-year-old sculptures of wood, ceramics, thanaka grinding stones, silver betel boxes. In front of the museum, you can see a British cannon dated 1826 and a huge Myanmar gong. Most labels are in Myanmar on although some are in English.

National Museum Yangon

The National Museum of Myanmar is Founded in 1952, and the museum has an extensive collection of ancient artifacts, ornaments, works of art, inscriptions, and historic memorabilia, related to history, culture, and civilization of Burmese people.

Yangon Zoo

The Yangon Zoo is the oldest and the second largest zoo in Myanmar. The zoo has 145 species of land animals,including 8 endangered species.
