Saualpe

The Saualpe is a low mountain range of the Central Alps in the Lavanttal Alps in Carinthia west of the Lavant river. The gentle mountain ridge stretches from the Klippitztörl to the Drautal, running in a north-south direction . The highest peak of the mountain range consisting of gneiss and mica schist is the Ladinger Spitz.

Säuleck

Säuleck is a mountain range in the south of the Ankogel group , in the Austrian state of Carinthia . It is located southwest of the Hochalmspitze . At the summit of the column corner, which has always been visited, a more than seven meter high pyramid was built in 1823, with the help of which the military trigonometric measurement was carried out by First Lieutenant von Catharin in 1825 . Paul Grohmann was one of the first known tourists at the Säuleck summit in 1860.

As part of the Nockberge, it lies between the region valley in the south and the Bad Kleinkirchheim valley in the north. The village of Afritz am See extends south of the summit and Bad Kleinkirchheim to the north.
