Wildlife Sanctuaries to explore in Rajgarh
Rajgarh District is located in the Northern part of Malwa Plateau. It is one of the small districts of Madhya Pradesh both in respect of area and population.
Narsinghgarh Wildlife Sanctuary was established in the year 1974 has an area of 57 sq km. It is famous for Chital, Sambhar, Blue Bull, Leopard, Wild Boar, Bhedki, Crocodile, etc. there is a lake situated in the center of the sanctuary and it was the main water source of this sanctuary. It is also a habitat of several local and migratory birds. Over 164 species of birds can be seen here.
