About Narsinghgarh wildlife sanctuary
Narsinghgarh Wildlife Sanctuary was established in the year 1974 has an area of 57 sq km. It is famous for Chital, Sambhar, Blue Bull, Leopard, Wild Boar, Bhedki, Crocodile, etc. there is a lake situated in the center of the sanctuary and it was the main water source of this sanctuary. It is also a habitat of several local and migratory birds. Over 164 species of birds can be seen here.

The fort and palace at Narsinghgarh was the official residence of the rulers of Narsinghgarh State. The fort was built nearly 300 years ago in the Rajpur, Mughal and Malwa style. The entire complex covers an area of 45.323 acres. It has 304 rooms, 4 halls, 12 chowks and 64 varandas. It is situated nearly 350 feet above the town. There is also a beautiful pool which was made in the 19th century.
A huge reservoir in the distrcit of raisen built on the Halali River. This dam is popular among locals of Bhopal as an excellent spot for picnic and boat rides. Apart from this, the reservoir is home to aquatic life forms such as catla, mrigal, mystus, rohu and chitala.
The group of temples on the Chandrabhaga stream belongs to the period of 6th to 14th centuries and is situated near Jhalara Patan. Owing to the arched gateways and carved pillars, the temples are considered good examples of the architecture of that period.
