Akal Takht

This is a historical fort located in the city of Amritsar. Earlier occupied by the army and now it is open for the public as a museum and the architecture of the fort is quite interesting.

Jallianwala Bagh

Jallianwala Bagh is a historic garden and ‘memorial of national importance’ in Amritsar, India, preserved in the memory of those wounded and killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre that occurred on the site on the festival of Vaisakhi, 13 April 1919.

This is a recently opened museum in 2017. The museum aims to become the central repository of stories, materials, and documents related to the post-partition riots that followed the division of British India into two independent countries: India and Pakistan.
