This cave complex consists of two caves of which one is a temple cave and the other is an underground cave which is in the form of a pool. The temple consists of Lord Shiva statue and the statue of a goddess. The most interesting aspect is that the pool cave has an unidentified source of water and was probably used as a bathing pool in ancient times.
Jatashankar Temple is a natural cave and Hindu shrine located north of Pachmarhi. It is located in a deep ravine with enormous boulders perched above. The cave serves as a shrine to the God Shiva and is a popular destination for pilgrims and It contains stalagmites that are revered as naturally formed lingams.
The Kedareshwar Temple is another Shiva temple situated in the Sailana Village of Ratlam District which was built in a man-made cave that has been carved out of a cliff of igneous rocks. The area around this temple is also a popular picnic spot in the place. People come here to enjoy the spiritual as well as natural beauty.
Udayagirri caves are intricately carved caves situated in an isolated stone hill, reworked under the rule of Chandraguptha 2. it has numerous Buddhists remains creating the ambiance. It is one of the most important archaeological sites from the Gupta period and now it is under the control of the Archaeological Survey of India.
