The park was built in 1906 by a commissioner of Assam named Mr. Cole, and was later reconstructed by M.G.V.K Bhanu in 1996. The park has recently been renamed as Chitralekha Udayan Park, after the name of a famous person in the Aniruddha Usha love story. Located amidst a number of misty hillocks and green terrains and blue lakes, this park is well known for its breathtaking scenic beauty. Inside the park there is a serene lake, in which boating can be done.

The Bhor Saidan Crocodile Breeding Centre is located 22 km from Kurukshetra and 13 km from Thanesar at Bhor Saidan village, also spelled as Bhour Saidan or Bhoor Saiydan, on the Kurukshetra-Pehowa road near Bhureeshwar Temple, one of the pilgrimage sites in Kurukshetra in the Indian state of Haryana.

Rajdhani Vatika, better known as Ecological Park or Eco Park, is a park located at Strand Road in Patna, Bihar. This park was inaugurated in October 2011 by Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, following an initiative of the Department of Environment and Forest, Bihar. The area has 1,445 metres of pathway, a children's corner and 1,191 metre jogging track. It has been developed to ease the load of Patna Zoo. The park is spread over 9.18 hectares of land, including two lakes.
Gaja Vallivari Cheruvu is one of the ancient ponds in the history of Helapuri town, A magnificent Buddha statue was constructed in the middle of the pond and a painting gallery was also created to spread the Buddha’s teachings. Gandhi Bagh is one of the oldest parks in Meerut which was set up by East India Company. It is located on Mall Road, not very far away from the city and is famous for the musical fountain show which happens every evening.
