Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanic Garden

Also known as Indian Botanical garden and it exhibits a wide variety of rare plants and a total collection of over 12,000 specimens spread over 109 hectares and it is under the Botanical Survey of India (BSI) of Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India.

Kaas Plateau of Flowers

It is situated high hill plateaus and grasslands turn into a 'valley of flowers' during monsoon season, particularly from August to early October. Kaas plateau is a World Natural Heritage site, part of the Sahyadri Sub-cluster.To control possible damage by tourists, the number of visitors to the plateau has been restricted to 3,000 per day.
