Runde is an island in the municipality of Herøy in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island has a population of 113 people, and it is connected by the Runde Bridge to the island of Remøya to the south. It is famous for its enormous number of birds. It is said that there are about 500,000 to 700,000 seabirds inhabiting the island, most of them are to be found in the cliffs. Giske is an island in Giske Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It covers an area of 2.67 square kilometers. It is flat, with the highest point 23 meters above the mean sea level. The island is connected by the Giske Bridge to the neighboring island of Valderøya to the east and by the Godøy Tunnel to the island of Godøya to the southwest. Giske Church, dating back to the 12th century, sits on the southern coast of the island.

Valderøya or Valderøy is an island off the west coast of Norway. It is part of the Giske Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county. The island is connected to the city of Ålesund to the south via the Valderøy Tunnel to the island of Ellingsøy and then by the Ellingsøy Tunnel to Ålesund. Valderøya is also connected to the island Vigra to the north by a short bridge. It is also connected to the island of Giske to the west by the Giske Bridge.

Borgund Church is situated in the old trading community Borgundkaupangen and is partially built on the remains of the old St. Peter's Church from the 12th century. Most parts of today's church are from 1904, with lovely carvings by Nicolai Mejdel og Hans Johannessen.
