Penyengat Island, Pulau Penyengat in Indonesian is an island in Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. It lies just off Bintan Island, close to Tanjung Pinang, the capital of Riau Islands Province. The island has historical significance, dating back to the 18th Century, when it was established as a fort as part of the Sultanate of Johor-Riau by the Bugis. It is one of tourist attractions in Riau Islands.

Masjid Raya Mosque on Penyengat Island is located outside Tanjung Pinang on Bintan island, Indonesia. The mosque was built in 1844 and is today one of Tanjung Pinang's most popular attractions for visitors.

The Barelang Bridge is a chain of 6 bridges of various types that connect the islands of Batam, Rempang, and Galang, Riau Islands built in 1997. Barelang also refers to the islands themselves, which are all administratively part of the municipality of Batam. The smaller islands of Tonton, Nipah, and Setotok connect Batam and Rempang. The entire Barelang region covers 715 km².
