The park mountains are part of the Tenasserim Hills Range, spanning over many protected areas in Thailand and Myanmar. The forests consists of dry and moist evergreen forests with trees such as Dipterocarpus tuberculatus, Hopea odorata, Terminalia chebula and different species of palms.

The Singkhon Pass, additionally known as the Maw-daung Pass, has an international pass-border checkpoint. This s a pass across the Tenasserim Hills on the border between Thailand and Myanmar, at an elevation of 245 meters. This border checkpoint is currently also being developed as a tourist attraction with new shops opening in the area by the road on the Thai side. The view from here is truly astonishing and it attracts a lot of people here.
