This is a long beach with a huge sculpture of a mermaid and some stone structure that looks quite old.

The beach was ferrotious at the time we visited it and I dont think it is a good idea to swim here. The life guards told us that the ocean floor drops very deep right near the shore. Also heard of many people who drowned and lost their lives here.

The sculpture on the nearby garden is huge, and I beleive the stone structure is built for some of the religious ceremonies of the famous Padmanabhaswamy temple that lies nearby. There is also a large coffe shop in the beach where you can sit and relax enjoying the breeze and the sunset.
