Lion’s Head

Kennon Rd, Baguio, Benguet, Philippines

Sculpture

Located a few kilometers from the Kennon Road view deck, the 40-foot high lion head was carved from a limestone boulder by a Cordillera artist. Located in Camp 6, it was conceptualized by the Lions Club members of Baguio City, during the term of Luis Lardizabal, Mayor of Baguio City between 1969 to 1970, to become the club's monument in the area.
