About Pamitinan Cave

Pamitinan Cave is where Andres Bonifacio and seven katipuneros made their pilgrimage and covenant for freedom during the April Holy Week in 1895, a year before the outbreak of the Philippine Revolution, the first revolution in Asia. It is also known as the Cave of Bernando Carpio. It is just the numerous cave with spectacular rock formation form the majestic limestone crags of the Montalban Gorge. It is declared as a National Geological Monument .
