The talakaveri temple is considered as the birthplace of Kaveri river. The temple is very well maintained and peaceful
There are stairs to reach a viewing spot on the top. The view of the mountain ranges is a visual treat. The drive from Madikeri to talakaveri is more scenic, especially in the morning
