It is a typical Tibetan monastery, presided over by a 18m-high gold-plated Buddha. Children are also taught outside the temple. Obvious stop if you are travelling to Coorg. Quite a place to spent some time there. You can witness the daily life of a monk. Nothing much to do there as its a holly place but there is few shops as well, one can give it a try.The paintings inside the temple describe the gods, demons, culture and also some of the phases of Buddha's life. It is great place to go.
