Ko Poda is an island off the west coast of Thailand, in Krabi Province, about 8 kilometers from Ao Nang. This National Park was established in 1990 as a marine park, situated in southern part of Krabi Province. The biggest islands in the park are Ko Lanta Noi and Ko Lanta Yai. "Mu" in thai means a group/group of, "Mu Ko" means group of islands. The national park consists mainly of rugged hills covered with 20 km² rain-forest and beach forest along the coastlines at Ko Lanta Yai and Ko Ngai. Other islands like Mai Ngam, South Mai Ngam and Ngu islands are covered with mangrove forest.

Wat Kaew Korawaram, also known simply as Wat Kaew, is the largest Buddhist temple within Krabi Town and one of most prestigious in the entire region, though not as famous as the Tiger Cave Temple located outside the city. Perched on a hill overlooking Krabi downtown, the temple dates back to 1887, when 200 families settled at Baan Pak Nam, which was the name of city at that time, and a community of monks sprang up and prospered.

Bamboo Island is a true tropical paradise. Known by locals as Koh Mai Phai, the stunning tiny island is just a short strip of white sand beach which rises from the sea, about 600 meters wide and 700 m long, with a shape like a heart. Its central part is covered with lush vegetation, mostly Casuarinas trees and the Bamboo trees, hence its name. On the north-eastern side of the island, under the shade of trees, there is a small bar for visitors, which serves drinks and snacks.

Phuket Zoo is a beautiful private zoo with an area of 12 ha inhabited by a big number of exotic animals. It was opened in 1997 and since that time is visited by thousands of tourists from all over the world.

Wat Chalong is a historical landmark and Buddhist temple in Phuket's Chalong Bay. For centuries, locals come to pray almost every day while westerners learn about Buddhism during their holiday. It's officially called Wat Chaitararam, but most people refer to it by Wat Chalong. The temple is located on Chao Fa West Road in the northern part of Tambol Chalong.

Phuket's Big Buddha is one of the most important and revered landmarks on the island. The huge image sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata and, at 45 metres tall, can be seen from as far away as Phuket Town and Karon Beach.

Kata Noi Beach is a great place to relax and soak up the sun. At about 700 metres long, it's one of Phuket's smaller beaches. Soft sand, crystal clear water, and the lush green jungle backdrops are the main draws here. The sea is very calm from December to April, while surfers come out to play between May and October. Kata Noi Beach enjoys large swells during this period, so be careful if you see red flags on the sand.

Karon Beach in Phuket is one of the longest beaches on the island, spanning 5 km of fine white sand overlooking the Andaman Sea. The northern end of the beach is usually deserted, making it an excellent spot for those who want the beach to themselves. The southern end, close to Kata, tends to be busier but it isn't that hard to find a nice spot for yourself.

Patong's 3-km strip of golden sand is one of the most popular beaches in Phuket. It has plenty of parasailing and jet ski operators, boat drivers, beach vendors, and masseuses approaching travelers who are relaxing on the sand.

It is a little paradise island with crystal clear water, white sand beach, and plentiful shallow water corals hide. There is a lot of plentiful shallow water corals so it would be a snorkeling paradise for those who love snorkeling.

Khao Phanom Bencha National Park is a small national park with hiking trails through forestland adorned with a couple of montane waterfalls, meandering trails and a couple of caves. A decent level of fitness is certainly recommended but fret not, a pretty awesome restaurant, a comfortable visitor center and a smallish camping ground makes for a kindly day out.
