Meadow Garden was the home of George Walton, one of the youngest signers of the Declaration of Independence. The historic house museum has been open to the public since 1901 and is a National Historic Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Butt Memorial Bridge is a historic bridge Built in 1950, this bridge originally connected the cities of Hephzibah and Augusta across Sweetwater Creek. It serves to honor World War I veteran Maj. William Humphreys Butt, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The steel truss arch bridge features an impressive 256 foot center span, which soars above the creek below tilting downwards at each end to create a stunning and picturesque scene.

Historic building Augusta Cotton Exchange Buildingwas designed by Enoch William Brown and built in the mid-1880s during a cotton boom. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 20, 1978. It is located on Reynolds Street.
