The Pettit Memorial Chapel, is a stunning place of worship built and lovingly maintained by the members of the church. Built in 1929 with construction funds provided by Mr. and Mrs. George W. Pettit, it is a classic example of Colonial-Revival style architecture featuring a steeply pitched gable roof and four interior columns wide enough to reach the ceiling. Inside, visitors are usually awe-struck by the breadth of the magnificent stained glass window extending 40 feet up each side wall.
