Panther Creek Recreation Area - 4 Things to Know Before Visiting

The Panther Creek Trail is a beautiful 3.2 mile long trail that takes hikers along the banks of a large and winding creek. The single track trail offers plenty of challenges with elevation changes, twists and turns, and obstacles like fallen trees. Birdwatchers are sure to find plenty of interesting species too, as the trail runs through a variety of habitats including wetlands, oak-hickory forests and bottomlands.

Tallulah Falls Lake offers something for everyone. With its deep-water coves, fishing piers and beautiful sand beaches, it is an inviting place for recreational activities such as swimming, boating, and camping. Boaters are required to comply with all applicable Georgia State Safe Boating regulations. For those who would rather stay on dry land, one can rent a paddleboard or kayak to explore the crystal clear waters of the lake.

Adjacent to Cascade Falls is Warwoman Dell, a nature area filled with streams and trails.
