The museum consists of four restored historic houses that regenerates the old commerical center of Msheireb commercial center with it's traditional community based lifestyle. 

It's not a large place to visit, was good to see how Doha looked like before it started to prosper from the oil boom. Also it was fascinating to see some old shop boards with text in Malayalam.
