Fountain Creek Regional Park - 4 Things to Know Before Visiting

This is a beautiful park that offers 28 miles of groomed trails on 2701 acres. It is also has day-use picnic sites and a visitor center where educational displays and interpretive programs are available for visitors. Evening programs and nature hikes are available during the spring and summer months and periodically during the fall and winter months.

The May Natural History Museum is located on the Golden Eagle Ranch. The museum exhibits one of the world's largest private displays of giant tropical insects including thousands of beautiful butterflies and moths, bizarre beetles, giant spiders and deadly scorpions. The May Museum consists of unique 7,000 specimens of insects and spiders housed in custom-made cases with handwritten labels. The collection includes a wide variety of insects including beetles, butterflies and so more.
