About Strand Dishoek
Dishoek is a village on the Western Scheldt in the municipality of Veere , in the Dutch province of Zeeland . The village, located between Zoutelande and Vlissingen , has approximately 225 inhabitants, but mainly consists of temporarily occupied holiday homes. The village originated as a hamlet of Koudekerke ; officially it is counted as the residence of Koudekerke. Nevertheless, especially thanks to tourism, Dishoek has increasingly become a real village in the twentieth century.

Bunker Museum Zoutelande is a museum in a bunker complex in the Zeeland town of Zoutelande. The complex was part of the Atlantic Wall. Two bunkers of the Stützpunkt Lohengrin complex are open. The distance between the bunkers is about 200 meters. The walls and roof are made of concrete with a thickness of 2 meters. The other bunker complex in Zoutelande was named after another opera by Richard Wagner: Stützpunkt Meistersinger.
