About Rietveld Schröder House

The Rietveld Schröder House is a residential house in the city of Utrecht designed by Gerrit Rietveld in 1923-1924. The house has been completely designed in accordance with the ideas of the De Stijl art movement. Rietveld designed the house for Truus Schröder-Schräder , who lived there from January 1925 until her death in 1985. The house is located at 50 Prins Hendriklaan in the Wilhelmina Park area and can be viewed via a guided tour. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2000.

The Spoorwegmuseum or the Dutch Railway Museum has been located since 1954 in the Maliebaan station built in 1874 on the Oosterspoorweg in the city of Utrecht.
