The Museum Beelden aan Zee in Scheveningen is the only Dutch museum devoted exclusively to sculpture. It was founded in 1994 by the collector couple Theo Scholten and Lida Miltenburg. The focus is on modern, contemporary international sculpture , especially post- World War II . Three to four times a year changing exhibitions can be seen in the Great Hall. They can be organized thematically, per movement or around the person of an artist.
