It is located from theApril 19, 2007in the former Holland America Line workshop building. The museum's collection is made up of many historical, social and cultural images from the 20th century to today, not only from the Netherlands but also from various parts of the world. The museum presents 150 archive pieces and a library comprising 120,000 digital images.
