About Edah Museum

The Edah-Museum was founded by former director Thieu de Wit and runs entirely on volunteers. After the supermarkets closed, volunteers collected old items and inventories from Edah and housed them in a museum. The museum also contains references to other grocery formulas and supermarket chains such as Konmar, Basismarkt, Torro and VéGé. After the closure of Edah, the Edah Museum remained located right next to the former headquarters until October 2018.
