Noorderplantsoen is a park in the Dutch city of Groningen , enclosed by the Oranjewijk , Noorderplantsoenbuurt and Hortusbuurt. The park is located where the northwestern part of the city's defensive walls was built in the 17th century and was opened in 1880.
