The Alte Donau is an arm of the Danube in Vienna . It lies orographically to the left of the New Danube , which accompanies the main Danube stream, but has no direct connection either with this or with the Danube itself. The Upper Old Danube stretches from the Floridsdorf Bridge to the Kagran Bridge , and the Lower Old Danube from the Kagran Bridge to the Donaustadt Bridge . A small part next to the Floridsdorf Bridge is designed as a Floridsdorf water park .
